Grant Guidelines

Have you verified that your charitable activities, in whole or in part, fall within the charitable focus of the Foundation for 2024 as listed on this website?  If you have any questions or doubt about whether your organization's mission and activities fall within the Foundation's current charitable focus, please contact the Trustees as indicated on this website or by e-mail at manager@thedoblesfoundation.org, before proceeding further.

If your organization is a Section 501(c) (3) public charity whose charitable mission, in whole or in part, seeks to accomplish the purposes for which the Foundation is currently making funds available, complete the Dobles Foundation Application and Budget form.  Upload or send the Application and Budget Form and supporting documents, if any, to the Trustees in advance of the October 1st deadline. If your organization received a grant from The Foundation in the last two years and has not yet provided a grant report discussing how grant funds were spent and their impact, such a report should be completed in advance of making a new grant request for 2024. The grant report can take any form or, your organization can respond to the questions in The Dobles Foundation Grant Report Form.

Grants are contemplated to be one-year distributions of up to $25,000, but in rare instances consideration will be given to worthy and substantiated multi-year requests.

Grant awards will be made in early to mid December of each year.

What is not funded?

In general, the Dobles Foundation does not fund routine operating expenses, capital projects, or initiatives of governmental agencies that could supplant or discourage public funding.
