Welcome to The Dobles Foundation
Arthur and Olive Dobles, long-time New Hampshire residents and successful business owners in the Greater Manchester area, had a significant history of quiet charitable giving during their lifetimes. They were thoughtful in making gifts, or delegating the authority to make gifts, all with the goal of improving the lives of New Hampshire residents. To achieve an ongoing legacy, they created the Arthur J.R. Dobles and Olive G. Dobles Charitable Remainder Unitrust in 1994. On the death of the survivor of them, their Trust became fully charitable and was qualified with the Internal Revenue Service as a Section 501(c)(3) private foundation in 2016. The Trust is registered with the NH Attorney General's Office of Charitable Trusts and the NH Secretary of State's Office and is now commonly known as the Dobles Foundation. Since 2016, The Dobles Foundation has awarded three hundred seventeen (317) discretionary grants totaling in excess of $4.8 million dollars to New Hampshire public charities.
